Hi there. I am a 20 year old female. I am worried about a possible std. I have never had sex but engaged in oral sex with my male partner (ex) in the beginning of 2020 around january. I do not have any general symptoms however since 2022 I have been getting sick every month every time one of my nephews are sick as they are usually around me most of the time. I usually get a flu/sore throat or cough. I have itchiness around my genital area but I think that is due to my fungal infection on my foot and hand and usually the itchiness goes away when I apply anti fungal cream. Please assist. Thank you.

It is very unlikely, but possible. Some people, for example, are born with hiv, which they can pass to other people later in life when they start having sex. People can also pick up herpes through casual kissing ? even from friends and family.
