Hi, are there any foods that a patient of hypothyroidism avoid, I came up with some articles on internet but I am confused, please enlighten.

Mr. Lybrate-user, the foods or vegetables to be avoided by patient of hypothyroidism are - soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, peanuts, mustard and coffee. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables and salads, a lot of fruits. Also use whole grain products like whole grain flour for chapati and rotis, do not use refined flours like maida.
