Hello! if the tooth has been lost, then yes definitely there will be consequences like the other adjacent teeth will try to occupy that space as our teeth have a natural tendency to migrate into empty spaces. This can cause malalignment of teeth and further can cause oral hygiene problems. If the tooth is naturally missing in mouth, then there can be a chance that it is impacted somewhere in the jaw which you may not be aware of or there is a possibility that it has not formed since birth itself. If in case its impacted, better consult a dentist nearby for further treatment plan. Hope this will help you. Thank you.
