Hi i'm, 50 years old recently diagnosed with heart failure and been told I need double valve replacement n the future as I contracted rheumatic fever as a child and not known about it till now and it's damaged both my valves av got aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation am on ramipril and furomeside water tablets all this started in july after having all the tests as in bloods ,x-rays, echocardiogram ,blood pressure was high and the symptoms I had and the tests they diagnosed this I was due to go in hospital yesterday for angiography at cardiac centre but was scared so didn't go as I am awake wen they do this procedure as in they numb my wrist and that's it i'm terrified and have got fluid n my lungs have in and off since july i've got moderate to severe valve mitral regurgitation and aortic stenosis and ive had left side under breast discomfort for last few hours think it's with fluid buildup but constantly feeling tired to do anything am scared to go and get checked out incase they say nothings wrong with me i'm under a cardiologist consultant for this illness but feel i've no one to turn to regarding this xx.
