I'm a 26 yo female. I recently moved to a new house and after two weeks I noticed a rash on my hands and it quickly spread to my legs. My gp diagnosed it as scabies and asked me to use permethrin 0.5% twice 7 days apart. I cleaned and vacuumed my house. The rashes have increased and so has the itching. She gave antihistamines and an ointment and asked me to repeat the treatment. Is this normal or should I visit a dermatologist?
