Diabetes is a serious condition that has the possibility of passing it on genetically to your offspring. When people marry they do look for the best possible match for their daughter and for the children that are born to that relationship. You cannot really fault them to look for the welfare of their own daughter in looking for marriage prospects. Even as professionals we recommend the most compatible matching criteria to ensure that the couple is most suitable for each other so that there is no possibility of conflict leading to breakups and divorces. It is probably influenced by the theory of? survival of the fittest. I think that you must learn to accept this aspect of life and seek a partner who may have some other issue with her which has become her nemesis in finding a willing partner, and that you seek to marry such a one. The both of you will have a reason to then share a lovely life because there is no disadvantage in each other that can be used to put the other down. This makes it more compatible. Even then we do not recommend child bearing, if there are any dominant genes of the same disorder on both sides. This is a sensible way to live a good life together and yet be responsible able bearing no children so that you do not give them a known handicap to unnecessarily compound their lives too. I hope you are able to understand this reasoning: it may sound all unfair but this is how it is. There are certain things in life that is not exactly the way we want it, and we need to accept it and live with it without making it a bug-bear in life. This is true for all of us. That is why scott m peck says? life is difficult. He then recommends that we do not attempt to change that but to change ourselves to cope with that fact. So do not wallow in this situation and make life more miserable than it is: make the best adaptation so that you live life well.
