I have a son of 6 1/2 years old he has got a very bad cough. I gave him piriton syrup as suggested by doctor but I see no results. What should I do.

Try giving him a spoonful of honey with few ginger drops twice a day, give him a smoke and dust free environment, avoid cold foods and drinks, give plenty of water to drink, enough rest, avoid ac, strong perfumes.
