I am 60 year old male, and recently suffered from a minor heart attack, and also suffer from diabetes. So I was prescribed with Glimestar PM2, but I came to know that it contains pioglitazone (15 mg) which is not good for heart patients. So is it safe for me to continue with this medicine?

Metformin is safest for heart patients. Calculate the dose after a trial, while taking dose and checking blood sugar.
