Going thru ovulation study. Clomiphene citrate day 3 to 7, Hmg 75 on day2 and day 4. Today its 9th day- 11�10mm in right ovary & 5�6mm in left ovary. endometrium-5.3mm (my extra from day 2 to15) What to do? My doctor ask me to go for another ultrasound on day 12 to see if 11�10mm egg reaches maturity. But she didn't gave me another hmg injection today as the follicles are not dominant? So this cycle is a waste?

No this cycle is not a waste, you had 2 developing follicles on day 9-(11by 10mm & 5by 6 mm) on day 12, the size will increase for sure and maximum size is around day 14 (indian average is 20mm, western is 24mm) then it ruptures if no pregnancy has occurred, dating'of endometrium starts simultaneously, from nil to 5mm to 12mm or may be a bit more around time of ovulation that is day 14 as per books, ovum stays alive for 48 hours, I would suggest an injection of hcg on day 14, to improve quality and life of ovum, sometimes without any reason follicle ruptures but you are on right tract. Do share the good news with all of us when you see 2 lines on strip.

Pcos requires prolonged injection to reach maturity. The ovulation may be delayed. Fsh injection may be better in pcos.
