Hello drs. My son is 4 months old last month on 27 feb I vaccinated him with rota vacc. Within 5-6 days he started motion which was greenish yellow in color. Every told me that his stomach infection will b cleared due to this but nothing was done than I consult my child specialist he prescribed me oflomac and pro liquid but still there was no progress then I again consulted him he told me to do stole test and result was rbc+ bacteria and pus cell+ and HE said its due to aome extra kind of food and prescribed injection nepstem after injection his motion were more rapid and become very liquid now my son is admitted in hospital. I JUST WANT TO KNOW IS THIS DUE TO ROTAVIRUS VACCINATION MAY ITS NOT SUITED TO MY BABY.

No definitely not, this is not a reaction to root virus vaccine, though it may cause some loose motions as we are innoculating a live virus into the body so that body fights and develops immunity. Need not worry its common in such age group children to have stomach infection of this sort. Its just co incidental, even though it was a reaction of the vaccine it should have occured within 1 -2 days of having vaccine not so late. So be patient and calm. Your child will be fine.

No it is not due to vaccine. It is bacterial infection with lactose intolerance. Start zerp milk farmula. It will be beneficial.
