Regards Lybrate user. Since the pop cast is heavy, walking with the cast may load your hip and low back more than normal. Besides if you were not weight bearing on 1 leg, the weight bearing patterns will change. Upon removal of pop and trying to walk normally, the forces and weight bearing will take time to resynchronize but eventually should get back to normal. If you prefer to have the issue addressed, please consult a physiotherapist for gait evaluation.
