I was detected with contact dermatitis or cheilitis on the lips. All the tests were done for blood sugar, herpes, hpv but everything was normal. The upper lip margins are dry and sandpaper like, the area above the lip too is very dry, however much moisturizer is applied, it becomes dry, a little coloured lip balm or lipstick aggravates, keeps coming back again and again, never goes completely, the vermilion border of the lip and the area above the upper lip are very dry and itchy.
