Some times dehydration or calcium deficiency can cause acute pain and cramps but safe to meet a doctor and take a doppler ultrasound of leg to rule out serious condition like deep vein thrombosis which is a blood clots in veins of leg.

If there is swelling along with the pain then you should get the doppler test done to rule out dvt in the left leg as it almost always occurs in left leg in pregnancy. In the mean time you can take pain killer like paracetamol to relieve pain.
