She will have to undergo thorough ent check up and may be some investigations like ct scan have to be done. If she is having some obstruction in the nasal cavity which is causing the problem with the sense of smell that can be corrected and she can get back the sense of smell. First of all ct scan is required to find out any underlying pathology like polyps or any mass causing these symptoms.
