Hi, the most common cause of bad breath is gum disease caused by tartar around teeth. Cavities as well as infected gums around your wisdom tooth can also cause bad breath. Also dry mouth can cause bad breath. I would advice you to get your teeth cleaned especially the gums around the wisdom tooth be cleaned and have good water intake. Chlorhexidine or listerene mouthwash will also help. Regards Dr. Mukesh k asrani.

Kindly get scaling done and use mouth wash twice daily for 15 days. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique. Also try to do warm saline gargles as this will keep the area around wisdom tooth free of any food accumulation and it will not cause any decay.
