I feel I have hernia in left groin as it swells and pains if I stand for more than an hour, but if I am sitting then there is no pain, can this be treated or needs surgery?

Thanks for questioning. Hernia can not be cured by medicine. However scrotal support and hernia belt may give some relief from pain. Get examined by a general surgeon and operated as early as possible to avoid further complications.

First we should confirm it by doing an usg scrotum and if it is confirmatory then surgery is the only option.
