Hi doctors, I had sore throat, swollen lymph nodes at the front of the neck. Fever 99. 6f,difficulty swallowing and fatigue last september no dry cough, no difficulty breathing. We traveled to chennai a week before this. We used ac in between. Sore throat settled in 3 to 4 weeks. But i've been suffering from dry cough ever since. I have scratchy throat too. I also have oral thrush. I tried saline gargle, steam inhalation, took a course of amox 500 mg od for 3 days as per a doctor's advice. I'm also taking saline nasal spray frequently which is helping pretty well. But this cough never seems to cease. I'm a breast feeding mom. My baby is 8 months old. Should I be worried?
