I tested positive for covid on thurs. Jan. 20, 2022 after developing symptoms beginning on sun. Jan. 16. I've been afebrile since fri. Jan. 21, and my other symptoms are resolved as of jan 24. I have a flight to the us scheduled for tues. Feb. 1, 2022. I am fully vaccinated. Should I get the rapid test done 1 day before my flight, or do I need to get the doctor's note clearing me to fly because my test may come back positive even though I have recovered?

No need of taking rapid test. You are considered covid free seven days after the confirmed test or three days of being without fever. You can taje flight any day after 27 january. 01 feb, no need of any prescription or test. Have a safe flight.

The rule is to get the rt pcr test done within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. The doctor has no role in providing clearance as you will have to still get the rt pcr test done as a part of the protocol. Thank you.
