My wife is seven weeks pregnant and we went for our first scan today. They said that the heart beat and growth is normal. But they said that there is slight internal bleeding inside the uterus and they advised to take hormonal injection twice a week. Is there anything to be worried of or is this normal?

In scan Heart beat is present and growth is normal but there is slight internal bleeding. Take hormonal injections as advised by your doctor. there may be slight blackish /brown discharge and internal blood will come out or get absorbed and pregnancy may continue. Take rest, avoid Sex, repeat ultrasound after 7 days to check heart beat and growth of fetus.
