For male 68 years, suffering from rheumatic arthritis which is under control. Sever pain in calf. Small gap problem in l4-l5. Bmd does not allow surgery. A nerve ans muscle tests are normal. Suggest for pain relief.

Severe calf pain could also be a bad knee, losss of electrolytes like calcium, magnesium, potassium, or dvt(deep vein thrombosis), or sciatic nerve. So a careful and detailed examination can only sort you out.
