I'm trying for conceiving, previously I had pcod, now it normal. Now my doctor suggested me to take "clofert 50 mg" tablets for 3 months, for 5 days. My question is how much chance of conceive? Because i'm trying for conceive since 3 years. Please suggest me.

Hi lybrate-user you should not take clofert without monitoring for egg/follicle growth. And it should definitely not be taken for 3 months without monitoring. Please consult an infertility specialist. Or fix an online consult with me to discuss your options.

You can take clomiphene but follicular monitoring is a must when you are on an ovulation inducing drugs. The chances of conception in one ovulatory cycle is around 8 percent.
