Is it normal for young children to stop taking or needing naps? My 3-year-old hasn?t taken a nap in quite a while, but seems to do OK.

Hi, On average, a 3-4yrs. of child needs 9-12hrs. of night sleep and 0-2hrs. of sleep during daytime (varies from child to child and few kids may not sleep during daytime). Normally, the child sleeps in daytime after doing more physical activity only when the child starts feeling tired and there is need of rest.
