My question is for psychiatrist doctors. May be it is the silliest question but still I am confused so please help me. I am taking medicines for mental illness (ocd, anxiety and depression) may be these medicines helps to increase serotonin level in brain and my doctor has advice me to do exercise and some more activities to help myself over come depression and all but I have doubt if I am taking medicines for serotonin uptake and I am doing exercise also (which also help to increase serotonin )then don't you think excess amount of serotonin will be produced and it will cause other mental illness?

No, the serotonin made by exercise is only mild and the increase by medicines are also theoretical. You can take as the doctor advised.
