Hi. Im a pharmacist by profession I have palpitations issue which comes n goes. It's a long history I have also done 2d echo to halter monitor which were normal. Doctors suggests that I have anxiety. Whenever I have palpitations I check my pulse n bp which comes normal. I just wanted to ask one question does pulse also increase in palpitation. Because whenever I have palpitations my pulse is normal.

Yes palpitation does increase regular pulse but irregular pulse can seem to be normal when you measure.

It is not necessary that pulse rate will go up with palpitations. Palpitations are a sense of being aware of your heart beat. For anxiety, along with pills try to have a fixed routine in the day for most things, do something each day which gives you pleasure and that you can look forward to, talk to friends and family, exercie, get involved in sports.
