Hii. My mom has spine prblm. She have l3 and l4 nerve prblm. In left side. Is there other treatment then surgery?

I would like to know from you a detailed history of her back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. It can be very helpful in decision making if I can see her detailed neurological examination ( motor & sensory examination - can be done by a physical therapist) so if you can send me these 2 things: - her mri images - her neurological status then I will be able to give an opinion.
