My gums becomes red and loose. I have so many ulcer in inner cheek ,tongue and upper part of mouth. Also red red small spot in throat. Which is very painful and gums swells. It seems infection in mouth. I t may be due to change of toothpaste. I have using glister toothpaste from 2 years regular and when it is very unavailable I used close up for 8 days after again using this glister the infection happens. Please suggest.

Hi. Good morning. Thanks for approaching Lybrate. There might be an infection. Check if you have diabetes. Or do you have any habit of tobacco. Because using tobacco causes infection in cheek hard palate and tongue. Tooth paste changing usually won't cause this much infection or discomfort. Follow me up with your oral habits and intraoral clinical picture. Take tablets antibiotics for three days. Follow up to know the antibiotics name. You can apply topical metrogyl gel in gums mildly for three days. Follow up for further doubts. Thank you.
