Lybrate-user I would say right now do not join the gym wait for 2 or 3 more years, reason is till 17 or 18 our height increases, as well as many soft tissues turns into muscles, so gym weight dumbbells and heavy rods can stop the natural process of gaining height and gaining muscles, in europeon countries and america I have seen children starting gym very early, its ok for them because there climate and diets are very different from we indians. If you still want to go gym you can go but do not train with weight, do only body weight exercise. And check out the qualification of your gym coach, and never take supplements. Thanks.
