Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis is inflammatory pathology around the outer epicondyle of elbow, actually it is a degenerative tear in ecrb tendon. My advice for her is: - intensive ice packs - tennis elbow brace for sometime - take a short course anti-inflammatory medication which suits you. - physical therapy like ultrasonics and laser therapy if available. Let me know in 2 weeks time whether your symptoms are improving or not. Also try to avoid all activities which increase your pain. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & regards Dr Akshay Kumar Saxena
