I am 59 years old. For last few years having symptoms of increased urine frequency, occasional severe burning and nocturia. Not on any medicines except for allergic rhinitis. Doing yoga and meditation since 20 yrs. 1 and half month back had fever, git upset and increased burning in urine. Urine r/e .2 to 3 pus cells and urine culture negative. Blood crp 125. Did not get rtpcr for covid. Ultrasound shows bph gade 1.prostate 28gms and pvruv 52 ml out of 98 as pre void volume. Already treated and now better. Started on cap prostina once od and urikind twice daily and silodosin plus dutasteride combination since 15 days. How much time will it take for bph to come to normal. Already stopped tea, milk, saturated fats, citrous fruits. What should I do next.

It may take a few months for the prostate size to decrease. Till then continue taking symptomatic treatment as you already are. Follow up regularly with your doctor to check for prostate size and any changes.
