Hey, I am a 21 years old girl and I had a hsv 1 and 2 test igg and igm. Hsv 1 and 2 igg was 0.41 and hsv 1 and 2 igm was 0.41. What does this mean? Am I hsv positive?

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you. A positive hsv-1 or hsv-2 igg antibody test means antibodies are present in your blood, which means you have had an infection in the past even if you haven't noticed any symptoms. The type of antibody detected indicates the type of hsv infection. Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
