I had first dose of covishield on 19th may. After that I had fever for 1 day which was around 101. But I have mild headache since then and today I got done my cbc done and my platelet count is 1.55 lakh only. And mean platelet volume is 13.2.should I have chances of blood clot. Should I go to mri?

Hi, your Platelet count is absolutely normal, but slightly on lower side of normal range(normal range is 1.5-4.5 laks/microlitre). It can be increased by just eating nutritious food. No need of MRI. In my opinion you are not at risk for developing blood clots, until and unless you are taking drugs that promote clotting. Hope this helps
