Hi. I took a cavity test on 4th of may and the result came on 6th of may indicating that I am positive with ct value 21.1. I have been instructed to isolate myself and I have been doing that. Today completes 14 days. During the course, I had lost sense of smell and had slight cough. I did not had any fever and rest of my health and immunity is doing well. Day before yesterday, I took another cavity test to see my progress and it again came out to be positive with ct value 24.4. I took medications prescribed and kept my surroundings clean and yet even after 14 days I am still positive. I would like to know why?

Don't worry. Presence of dead cells of covid will also indicate test positive.

Such things do happen a few times but it’s of no clinical significance. Just be in rest for a couple of weeks more
