I took my first dose of covisheild vaccine on may 6th. On may 11th I developed symptoms and was covid positive on may 14th. When can I go for vaccine second dose?

Hii Lybrate user you should wait for 3 months after clinical recovery from covid 19 before taking the second dose of the vaccine as per the latest mohfw guidelines. In case of mild covid, clinical recovery is defined as 10 days from the onset of symptoms with absence of symptoms like fever for last 3 days plus 7 days of isolation in home. Therefore, for mild covid 17 days from symptom onset marks clinical recovery. Vaccine should be taken 3 months following clinical recovery.
