I controlled my period cycle with just lifestyle changes, and I am losing weight. I don't get any other symptoms of pcod anymore like facial bumps or hairs. Am I cured? Do I need more treatment? I had it for 8 years and also have hyperthyroid. (but under medication for thyroid) when had pcos I use to get prolonged periods sometimes and short or irregularities in periods, but not anymore. Do I still need medicines? I am concerned because they say pcos is not completely curable. So perhaps medicine will cure me? Or medicines are also supposed to control pcos only? "it is not possible to repair or regenerate dead cells completely, I was told" absolutely have no idea what dead cells are they talking about or if pcos can cause such things. Just tell me medications I need, or not? Also, if I stop exercising will everything still be normal? How many months I need to control pcos to cure it permanently? Can I get pregnant now?
