I was covid positive on 15 march 2021. I was home quarantine. Today I am having mild tiredness. I checked my body temperature on forehead with infrared thermometer it shows 96.8 to 97.1. But when I checked my oral temperature with oral thermometer it shows 99.1 to 99.2. Also I checked under amprit it shows same 99.0 to 99.1. I don't have any other symptoms except mild tiredness / weakness. Spo2 is normal 97-98. My pulse are also normal i.e 80-84 I didn't sleep yesterday night as I was watching series. I want to know why there is variation in two thermometers. Whether I have fever? Chance of cavity reinfection?

Oral temperature is more accurate as it takes the inner temperature and the thermometer is in direct contact with your body! you might have slight fever but that is of not much concern. Take paracetlybrate-userif fever increases rest it will go with time. Meanwhile keep monitoring the temp, stay hydrated amd eat fruits amd vegetables.

Forehead temperature reading is generally 1�f cooler than oral temperature. So, no need to worry about that. Sleepless night may be the reason for tiredness or weakness.
