My father has taken the first dose of covishield and the date for second dose has passed by two weeks. Does it require to restart the vaccination from first dose again?

Good evening delay for one to two week is normal. He can take the second dose vaccine as soon as possible. First dose can produce antibody for 3 to 6 months. So he need not to re start from first dose. If he can take the vaccine within 3 months it will be counted as second dose. For furthermore questions reply me.
