I can see thin black lines on one of my inner tooth. I also have tooth ache. I think it's cavity. Please consult some of the remedies which can help me getting rid of it without going to a doctor. I heard that clove oil and garlic can help. Is it necessary to go to a dentist.

Dear Lybrate user, the home remedies only work by helping modify the response to chemical and physical insult to your mouth/ oral cavity only for a short period. The period depends on body to body. Although, ultimately there is no other choice than to consult a dentist. The sooner. The better. Doing an xray and sending the copy should be the first line of action suggested from our team.
