I unknowingly squeezed a boil in the face known as danger area. After evaluating possible risks I immediately consulted a physician and started antibiotic within 24 hours. He prescribed me amoxyclav 625. I am having it from past 3 days and been advised to continue the same up to 7 days. The boil I popped is almost cured now but I have developed two more boils one right ear pinna and another in lower chin area. Are these events spontaneous or linked? I am tremendously worried. Please give me advice. Thank you.

Dear user, it is not necessary the boils are linked to one another. It could be due to heat or a form of acne. Best is to leave it untouched. Do frequent face washing with a soap or facewash so that would prevent further contamination. Continue the antibiotics as per your physicians orders.
