Teeth whitening is not permanent. Both are for cosmetic purpose. Laminates may cause permanent damage to the anterior teeth.

Hello lybrate-user, teeth whitening is not a permanent procedure, but a semi permanent one. Effects depend on diet (turmeric and colas are to be avoided) and maintenance of teeth. Laminates are a permanent solution. To change both colour and shape see your smile, do you want to change the shape of your tooth, or its just the color. And then take a call if its only the shade of the tooth, go for whitening.
