When it pains, u should not continue walking. It will put more pressure on knee. Go for treatments like janu vasti, which will keep the knee joint allright.
Hi Persistent pain can indicate some degree of degeneration happening in a joint. You should continue to walk, do regular physical therapy and maybe a short course of anti-inflammatory medication should help. I would like to see your X Ray before i can tell you exactly what needs to be done. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Thanks & Regards Dr Akshay Kumar Saxena

Try knee cap.
Identify the dip behind (inside) your right knee. Press this point and swing forward and backwards 10 times in the morning and evening before you go for a walk. U will be alright
