My wisdom tooth is erupting from past 5 months. But still it is paining in right jaw and below ears. I have visited a dentist more than 4 times. But they are telling me to wait until complete eruption and nothing can be done for this. How many days I have to wait? I am not able to tolerate this pain. Please help.

Time cannot be said, you have to wait until it is completely erupted.

Start rinsing with tolerable hot water with salt in it every 2 hours. It will make you comfortable in a weeks time. Usually eruption is not that painful, I will suggest you to consult a oral and maxillofacial surgeon for second opinion.

Hello dear, wisdom teeth usualy erupts by 21 years age, if its not fully erupted by then, means your jaw is not having adequate space for the wisdom tooth to erupt fully, in such cases get it removed surgically, otherwise this pain can continue its naure.
