Hi, I have an issue that whenever I feel stressed, my stomach start paining and I experience excessive gastric issue, I didn't find anything good. And the stress comes on thinking about small-small things, like- feeling that I will not be able to complete my work (office work) on time, thinking of not able to perform well in any task. Its like very small things bother me alot but I cannot make myself understand that I should not take stress for these things. I start thinking and suddenly my stomach aches, gastric issues occur and I am not in my control .i feel totally broken and disheartened. Is it a big disease? Any solution for this.

Anxiety also releases stress hormone (cortisol), which causes the body to produce extra levels of stomach acid. That acidity causes the lining of the esophagus to become irritated, and this can lead to stomach pain, nausea and vomiting. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.
