Hello Dr. My mom aged 54 is having persistent uti & severe e-coli infection since a long time. She's experiencing frequent urination, overactive bladder and urine incontinence, accompanied by inflammation during urination. She's not able to control her urine & so almost 2-3 times daily it leaks out. I request you to kindly prescribe medication for her as she can't visit a Dr. Personally due to urine leakage problem. Thank you.

The frequent urination is due to the uti. It has to be treated before treating the incontinence. Uti can lead to septicemia if left untreated so I would suggest you to start her on medication if not started yet. If the uti is controlled and the incontinence is present evaluation of the bladder has to be done. Visit your nearest gynae for physical evaluation.
