Hi i?ve had pcos since end of 2018. Been on birth control pills throughout whole of 2019 but not every month. This year i?ve been on bc pills for june and july. For july my last day of period was on 21st july and today is the 31st july, I woke up with backache and cramps (common symptoms for me when I get my period). True enough I got my period but not a heavy flow, but needed to wear a pad. 6 days ago I had vaginal mucus with little bit of blood. Around the same time me and my boyfriend got intimate - he had his boxers and pants on whereas I did?t, and I was on top of him but we did not have sex and there was no penetration so i?m ruling out pregnancy that can cause spotting. Just need some input on the period issue though! thank you.
