Hi, i've been having some tongue problems for the past 5 months. The first week of the symptoms I had almost no taste at all, then it gradually came back, white rings come and go and I have some permanent whiteness in some parts of the tongue. All this with a strange feel od dryness in the mouth and kind of scorched tongue. I did fungal tests and helicobacter which both resulted negative. I would like to know your opinion? Thanks.

It would be helpful and easier to comment of the lesions could be seen. But as per your description white rings over the tongue sound like glossitis with candidiasis, but difficult to comment without a visul aid. H.pylori is a bacteria not a fungi, so I doubt if your fungal test has been done because candidiasis is due to a fungus candida albicans. A proper history is required about your diet and medications used. Immunity impaired can cause oral candidiasis and gi trouble may cause glossitis. Various other reasons to comment on. On this platform I can just sdvice you to take vit b comples everyday thank you.
