Hello doctor, I feel a burning sensation on my hands and feet for the past couple of days now. I looked up on the web and it shows lots of diseases and disorders connected to this symptom that scares me. But I don't have any other symptoms that are mentioned on the web, connected to the diseases/disorders that are stated. It is only the burning of my hands and feet. There is no pain, swelling or anything involved. It's just a burning feeling. I am concerned with that now. Please advise me on what to do. (extra info if it helps: I am on a protein + vegetable diet currently as I am very obese, but I do take in carbs once a week) thank you, looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello lybrate-user. Mostly sudden changes in diet can cause such symptoms as there is a lack of certain vitamins in the vegetable diet. Also stress, tension, etc can cause such symptoms. Instead of taking a completely different diet. Reduce the regular diet and increase exercise. You can also start homeopathic treatment to have healthy weight loss.
