My father has trigeminal neuralgia disease. He is taking carbamazepine zeptol 400 mg tablet but there is no use of it. Pain is too much, it feels like a spark near ear. What should he do now. Is surgery a good option?

Hi Lybrate user. There are other tablets that can be added before going for surgery. And he can get a mri trigeminal nerve fiesta sequence done to decide if surgery is required for him.
