24 days ago I had flu like symptoms. I went to the hospital to get screened for the novel virus however I was told that as long as I haven't had contact with anyone who just traveled or was a patient I was not considered a high candidate. I disagreed but the doctor gave me 7 days sick leave. I was able to stop the fever from day one mostly because as soon as I felt a fever and diarrhea I immediately took panadol cold and flu. For the first 3-4 days I took panadol cold and flu, cough syrup, chloraseptic, raw ginger, apple cider vinegar, vitamin c and oranges. Honestly by the 3rd day all the symptoms were gone. On day 6 my chest felt uncomfortable but I did not have a dry cough or chest pains. Just a slight burning sensation in the centre of my chest and back. I still have these burning sensations. Now i've read that for some people it may take weeks to get over the cough so now i'm wondering how long will it take to get over the burning sensation? What should I take for it?
