I am 23 years old male. I have been suffering from itchiness for last 2 months these are in circle form reddish colour, I got infected in my private parts first at then it spread over the thigh and leg I applied many ointment and tablets but found no effects. Currently I am using clobeta gold gm which is effective but the scars are still here. Kindly suggest me any medicine.

Hello lybrate-user. I feel so sorry for you, that you haven't been guided properly. The first thing what comes to picture with your symptoms is fungal infection. And the steroid creams are contraindicated in such circumstances. The cream what you are using has a steroid and shouldn't be used for so long in said condition. Please refer to a proper dermatologist who can guide you after examination of the lesions.
