Doctor prescribed losartan 50 mg. I do not have kidney issues nor diabetic issues. Took me off my fluid pills. Why would he order this?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Losartan is used to treat high blood pressure. It is possible that doctor must have prescribed it for controlling the high BP. Since there is no mention of any BP readings, it is difficult for me to know exactly. Thanks.
